Pleiades in Mont-Blanc - La Giettaz
Illuminated by the Moon, the Mont-Blanc massif stands out in the background, seen from the Aravis pass. On the left side of the picture, the star cluster of the Pleiades overhangs the Hyades cluster in the Taurus constellation. The Taurus is a characteristic V-shape (here lying down) with its bright star, Aldebaran, which means "the eye of Taurus".
