Summit meeting - Passy Mont-Blanc
At 3:30 am in May 2019 on the heights of Passy Plaine Joux, the panorama is magnificent on the Mont-Blanc massif. The Milky Way covers the roof of Europe, surrounded by the brilliant Jupiter on its right and Saturn on its left. Between the two planets, the Lagoon Nebula sits in the galactic centre, in the constellation of Sagittarius.
Access to the Chamonix valley is marked by the lights of Le Fayet and the Egratz viaduct on the right of the image, followed by Servoz in the centre and Les Houches at the entrance to the world capital of mountaineering.
