Anticyclonic twilights are often very pure, with extremely clear and contrasted skies. Installed on the platform of the former Veyrier cable car above Annecy last December, the spectacle of the diminution of light in the sky which illuminated the sea of moving clouds was splendid.
In the first image, the day is still present. In front of me, the mass of the Semnoz emerges from the sea of clouds, accompanied by the summits of the Bauges on the left. In the second image, the red color of the horizon contrasts with the deep blue of the sky, while the planet Venus appears above the Semnoz. Still visible in the twilight, the sea of clouds will soon be lit by the lights of Annecy and the communes along the lake below.
