Tribute to Thomas Pesquet - Opus 2
Passage of the ISS with Thomas Pesquet over Dronières lake. I captured this magnificent passage of the ISS at the end of nautical twilight, while the crescent moon accompanied the planet Venus on the Western horizon. I chose Dronières Lake in Cruseilles in order to have a shot of calm water and the reflection of the stars. From this vantage point, I saw the vessel of Thomas Pesquet crossing the star Altair in the constellation of Aquila, before passing into the small, clearly visible constellation of Delphinus.
