Tribute to Thomas Pesquet - Opus 25
Passage of the ISS with Thomas Pesquet over Annecy lake on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
Nine days before his return to Earth, scheduled for June 2, the French astronaut passed directly above France. At the summit of the Semnoz, fifteen kilometers from Annecy, I immortalized his passage to the East. The ISS passed to the left of the star Vega in the Lyra constellation, then near to Deneb in the Swan, before disappearing behind the Aravis mountains. 1100m below, the mirror of Lake Annecy reflects the lights of the surrounding communities.
