2017 - USA - Mud Lake Idaho - Total Solar Eclipse
A compilation of 5 images of the American eclipse at different exposure times (from 1 / 500s to 1 / 10s). The outer crown displays its delicate filaments of particles outlining the magnetic field of the Earth’s star. Magnificent prominences are visible on the upper right, just as the third contact occurs. The diamond appears gradually near the large prominence, outlining the relief of lunar craters. The star Regulus from the Leo constellation is visible at the bottom left of the image.
