The arch of the Milky Way is projected above the Mont Blanc from the heights of Megève. The Haute-Savoie resort illuminates the mountain behind the big tree. Further down the valley, the lights of Saint-Gervais do not prevent from seeing another galaxy, Andromeda, which seems very small compared to ours. More than 2 million light years away, it will eventually merge with the Milky Way in more than 2 billion years.
