Conjunction at the summit (bis) - Chamonix Mont-Blanc

The lunar crescent and Mercury shine at dusk from the Cosmiques refuge (3,613 m) in the Mont Blanc massif. After bowing out, the daytime star gives way to the star of our nights. The slim crescent moon, shedding a beautiful ash light, accompanies the planet Mercury at twilight.
Further down, the Aravis range etches the horizon, while the town of Sallanches and the station of Combloux light up.
