The planet Venus sets above Annecy lake, accompanied by a crescent moon. The sky offers a handsome show tonight (Monday, October 3, 2016). The sun has already set, and the glow of twilight colors the Annecian sky golden yellow. In that glowing band of horizon, Venus is the first light to begin to shine, accompanied 4° above by a thin croissant of a moon. The two celestial bodies are reflected in the waters of the beach of the Imperial; its diving boards are seen in the foreground.
