Before the Sun in Brice Canyon - Utah
Utah’s Brice Canyon National Park, at an altitude of 2,400 m, is among the most beautiful in the American West. Its colourful geological formations called Hoodoos stand in an amphitheatre about twenty miles long.
At dawn, the amphitheatre awaits the first rays of the Sun that will sublimate its colours. In this pure sky, the Venus belt on the right displays its characteristic pinkish colour, a trace of the sun’s light diffused into the upper atmosphere. At the edge of the trees, a slate blue band materializes the shadow of the Earth.
