Total eclipse of the moon at Lac Noir, facing the Meije (3,853m) and the Râteau in the Ecrins massif. Modest Selene remained veiled by high clouds, before hiding completely just after the total eclipse. The Milky Way nevertheless made a short appearance, harbouring Saturn.
