Seen from the Hérault side, the Cirque de Navacelles draws its horseshoe print in the Vis river gorge. The road that recedes down to the hamlet is illumined by the headlights of a car emerging from the opposite gorges, on the Gardois side. The appearance of stars marking the end of dusk materializes the rotation of the Earth, whose axis points to the Polar star.
