On January 25, the first full moon of 2024 was rising behind a light veil of cirrus clouds and the pastel hues of twilight. From the summit of Semnoz (1700m) above Annecy, the view was magnificent, with the Aravis mountain range and Pointe Percée (2752m) as witnesses.
