At the entrance to the Nesque Gorge, in the Vaucluse district, the small medieval village of Monieux is the only source of light in the area. The dark sky allows us to capture a beautiful star pattern around the Northern Star. The often strong wind in this Provence valley shakes the trees, making it hard for the poplar to play its imaginary role as a celestial mast.
