Shortly after dusk, the famous mesas stand out in the desert of the territory of the Navajo Indians whose camps are illuminated in the valley. The iconic West Mitten Butte sits at the center of the image, with its finger that seems to indicate where to look, to the celestial vault of the Utah desert. The Milky Way is home to a wonder of the sky, the double cluster of Perseus, accompanied on its right by the galaxy of Andromeda.
