The mist of the desert - Wahiba Sands - Oman

It is the end of the night in the Omani desert of the Wahiba Sands. The night humidity has condensed to the valley floor, enveloping the Arabian Oryx camp. The lights of the oasis reveal the dune line, and the spring sky offers a galactic center rich in stars and gaseous nebulae. Above the camp, Venus dominates the planet Mars with its brilliance, while on the right side of the image, Alpha and Beta Centauri link the Milky Way to the top of the dune.
