The Iridium at 5:15 - Annecy Semnoz
Right on time, the 5:15 Iridium 67 allows a glimpse of its flash just beneath the Pole star above the light pollution of Annecy, while an unhappy cirrus simultaneously diffuses the light of the crescent moon and Venus. Jupiter reigns above the other two celestial bodies, while the dimly glowing Mars between Selene and the evening star awaits the spring to give the full force of its radiance. Below, Lake Annecy is sketched out by the lights of the surrounding communities, while the massifs of the Tournette, the Aravis and the Mont-Blanc can be seen in the background.
