July 19, 2020 - Competition - Les Saisies
The day dawns at the Bissanne summit on July 19, 2020. Comet Neowise has just passed Point Percée in the Aravis range and is pointing towards the horizon that the Sun is starting to warm up.
Its curved dust tail is very extended, materializing its trajectory in space. Its rectilinear gas tail can be clearly seen on the left, opposite to the direction of the Sun, which sublimates the ice from its core. On the right side of the image, Venus has just risen behind the Mont-Blanc that the roped party is storming at this early morning hour.
As for the spot of light of the resort of Les Saisies, it seems to show us the beautiful visitor of this summer definitely not like the others...
