Saint Michel at full moon - Prunières - Hautes-Alpes

The islet of the Saint-Michel chapel is a vestige of the commissioning of the Serre-Ponçon dam which created the lake of the same name. Situated above the maximum level of the lake, the chapel has become the most photographed monument of the Hautes-Alpes. Here, the full moon will set in the morning twilight, with the golden reflection of our natural satellite in the waters of the second largest artificial lake in France.
