Medieval village in the moonlight - Balazuc - Ardèche

Perched on a cliff overlooking the Ardèche, Balazuc was an important stronghold in the early Middle Ages. The panorama from the north bank of the river is bathed by the light of a quarter moon reflected in the water on a windless night.
