At the seaside...of clouds - Veyrier

Venus and the Milky Way in the twilight sky over Lake Annecy. The Milky Way, one of whose arms is clearly visible in the photo, crosses the stars Altair, Vega and Deneb. To the left, slightly to the right of the Semnoz summit, is Venus, who will accompany us each night throughout all of winter. Taken from the platform of the former Veyrier ski lift (1254m), the image clearly shows the dark division of Lake Annecy beneath the sea of clouds, with the lights of Veyrier du Lac below and those of the Agglomeration of Annecy further to the right.
