The eighteen bends of this mythical Savoyard road connect the Arc en Maurienne valley to the village of Montvernier, 400 m higher. Completed in 1934, the road was used by the Tour de France in 2015 and 2018. On the picture, a car’s headlights seem to reach the starry sky.
