Waiting for dawn - La Giettaz
This summer morning, the Milky Way rises above the alpine pasture of Sandra and Pierre Angelloz at the Aravis pass.
The brightness of the valley where Sallanches and Saint-Gervais are located disturbs a little the vision of this medium dense part of the Galaxy.
At the top, the double cluster of Perseus is well visible. Further down, the constellation of Auriga appears, with the bright star Capella. On the right, Taurus shows the characteristic V of its head, topped by the Pleiades open cluster.
