Tribute to Thomas Pesquet - Opus 13
Passage of the ISS with Thomas Pesquet over Lake Annecy on Saturday, February 4, 2017.
Duingt castle, installed on the peninsula, marks the separation between the small and large Annecy lakes. I captured the passage of the International Space Station at the beginning of the night, with the Sun in the first quarter lighting up the landscape and turning the sky blue. Emerging from the crest of the Semnoz, the ISS climbs above the lake before disappearing in the shadow of the Earth. On the left, through the branches of a tree, the light of the planet Venus completes the tableau.
