Starry reflections in the Val des Nymphes - La Garde-Adhémar - Drôme
2km from the centre of the village overlooking the Rhône valley, the Val des Nymphes is full of mysteries. The permanent spring, which feeds the great basin, has fascinated people since Antiquity. They worshipped the nymphs, the deities of water, fertility and prosperity. Several churchs have been built next to the spring, the last remnant of which is the present-day prior church of Notre Dame des Nymphes from the 12th century.
The calm water basin here reflects the path of the stars, which materializes the Earth's rotation during the 30-minute break.
