Moon, Mercury and Venus at twilight - Villaz
Magnificent conjunction of May 24, 2020 between the lunar crescent, Mercury and Venus. Two days after the new moon, the thin crescent is here enhanced by the ashy light, a reflection of the Earth's light on the dark part of the Moon. On the right of the Moon, the planet Mercury is clearly visible thanks to its strong declination, it whose elongation with the Sun (the angle it forms with it) does not exceed 28° at most. Finally, Venus shines at the bottom right, completing this majestic trio in the redness of the twilight sky.
