2002 - Australia - Old Narylco - Total Solar Eclipse
The totality of the eclipse of December 4, 2002 lasted only 20 seconds. Posed on the horizon, the Sun and the Moon are still intimately linked. The brilliance of the Sun returns and illuminates the eucalyptus trees of the Australian bush, while the prominences are still visible on the opposite side, because of the almost identical diameter of the moon and the sun.
