The ISS at Solutré - Solutré-Pouilly - Saône-et-Loire
La Roche de Solutré is a limestone escarpment that dominates the vineyards of Bourgogn, 8km from Mâcon. Cradle of the famous Pouilly-Fuissé, Solutré and its sister La Roche de Vergisson were beautifully imaged by Lamartine as "two petrified ships overlooking a sea of vines".
Installed in a plot of land in Mâcon-Solutré belonging to the winegrower Michel Camusat, I captured the passage of the International Space Station at the end of the twilight.
