Longitude Zero in France - Villers-sur-Mer - Calvados
Villers-sur-Mer was the first French town to be crossed by the Greenwich meridian. The town erected this small monument to the famous international reference of longitude.
A luminous line on the ground indicates the direction of the North Pole. The confirmation of this direction is brought at night by a long photographic pose, with the perfect symmetry of the round of stars created by the rotation of our planet.
